The Mediterranean Sea is one of the most important tourism destinations in Southern Europe, West Asia and North Africa, getting all this coastal area million visits throughout the year, but of course, with greater presence of the same during the summer of northern Hemisphere.
As you know this sea that is connected with the Atlantic Ocean, covers 2.5 million square kilometers, which is considered as the second largest inland sea in the world.
As for the climate of coastal areas bathed by the Mediterranean Sea should know that the temperature is subtropical and temperate. The summers are dry and warm, and winters are mild but can occur presence of rain.
